We can all certainly agree that 2020 has been a year unlike any other. Due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic, my husband started working remotely in early March and not long afterward, the college that our two young adults attend closed its campus and went fully online for the spring quarter. Our family has been working and studying from home and "socially distancing" ever since. It's now the end of summer. We are still avoiding gatherings and don't see an end in sight yet, but we're definitely trying to stay connected with friends and doing our best to stay positive and create wonderful memories despite all the uncertainty. One shiny silver lining for me this summer was being able to attend Classical conferences and events online. As the spouse to an active duty military member who later transitioned into being a student veteran, I have been unable to attend for years.
